Of course birding in Brazil isn't all about sweaty jungles, although the country is not famed for its seabirding I'm convinced a few pelagics off the southern coast will find some real goodies. After all we have seen albatrosses from the beach further south and once in Ubatuba. Anyway, this photo of a South American Tern is today's posting in honour (if that's the right word) of Elis' lack of presence in my daily life.
I think she has captured the grace and beauty of this bird perfectly.
