Another new site along the road to Itamamabuca. There is a small family owned restaurant at the start of a track through some secondary forest and open areas.

On my first trip here we saw Buff-throated Purpletuft and Fork-tailed Tody-Tyrant, the latter proving to be fairly reliable. I have also heard Spotted Bamboowren and Slaty Bristlefront, and have seen the latter once. It is also a good place to look for Bare-throated Bellbirds as there are good views of the wooded hillsides from the track.
